Department of dentistry, AIIMS Kalyani offers state of the art dental services with inbuilt dental lab services.

1. Department of oral medicine and radiology
Deals with the diagnosis and imaging of patient is done using high tech machines including Cone beam computed tomography (CBCT), orthopantomogram (OPG) and radiovisiography (RVG).

2. Department of Conservative dentistry and endodontics
offers variety of treatment from relieving the patient from pain and disease to increasing the quality of life of patient with dental microaesthethics. Root canal treatments are performed with state of the art dental microscope, surgical loupes, rubber dam along with latest rotary file systems.

3. Department of Orthodontics & Dentofacial Orthopaedics
deals with diagnosing, monitoring and treating facial growth related issues and malalignment of teeth.

4. Department of Oral and maxillofacial surgery
currently offering a wide range of services from minor surgical procedures (e.g. painless atraumatic dental extraction , removal of impacted wisdom teeth , dental implant etc) to major Maxillofacial surgeries like complicated  jaw fractures , jaw cysts, jaw tumours, temporomandibular joint procedures etc. Both OPD and indoor admission services are available to a wide range of patients. Major O.T. services as well a weekly Temporomandibular joint special clinic is being run.”.

5. Department of Prosthodontics and crown & bridge
offers dental rehabilitation and maintenance of the oral function, comfort, appearance and health of patients with clinical conditions associated with missing or deficient teeth and/or oral and maxillofacial tissues using bio-compatible substitutes. Rehabilitation of patients starts from capping of teeth, bridge, removable partial dentures, flexible dentures to complete denture delivery of patients.

6. Department of Pediatric and Preventive dentistry
offers quality care dental solutions to all kids from infancy till adulthood and preventive services such as fluoride application and pit and fissure sealants along with routine dental care such as pulpectomies, stainless steel crowns, extractions and restorations.
